Fundamentals of GDPR in CPR Global Tech
1: We only keep the data of customers if they have engaged in a contractual relationship with us. They have bought something or have registered for a newsletter. This does not follow an 'opt-in' approach. Customers are clearly told that why we need to keep their data on file.
2: At the end of a warranty, the customer will be invited to subscribe to our newsletter feed. If the customer does not want to subscribe, all the data will be deleted.
3: The data we keep is ONLY the data we need in order to fulfil our contractual obligation.
We foresee that one day, we will contact someone who has asked us not to contact them again. We will have no record of this request (all the data having been deleted), but the customer will have a record of having asked us to remove their data. We find this is a real risk for the company.
